Hi I’m Sarah, the founder of Therapeutic Massage & Wellness.

I am a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist as well as being Nationally Board Certified. I graduated from Sarasota School of Massage with honors. In 2013 I began my journey as a therapist working at a chiropractic office treating chronic pain with my therapeutic touch.

My love of helping people is what led me to massage. Helping my clients alleviate stress and pain is very rewarding. I strive to educate my clients and motivate them to participate in their own preventative care.

In 2014 I became a part of an amazing healing team in Port Charlotte. Over the 5 years I was able to gain the confidence and knowledge I needed to create an amazing practice that I have always dreamed of. I am forever grateful for the opportunity and the mentorship I received along the way.

In May 2019 I started my own practice called Therapeutic Massage by Sarah LLC. Since then we have moved and expanded into a beautiful new healing space! As the growth continues, our business name Therapeutic Massage by Sarah has been changed to Therapeutic Massage & Wellness.

I specialize in therapeutic bodywork and advanced neuromuscular therapy services to manage chronic pain to improve overall health.

My certifications include Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Traditional Thai Massage, Cupping, Myofascial Release and Gua Sha. I strive to empower clients to understand their bodies and discover the power of the healing arts while providing a safe, nurturing, and relaxing atmosphere.

Summer Curry is a licensed massage therapist in Florida and Oregon. She recently relocated from Central Oregon to Southwest Florida. Summer is newly married and has two sons, who are 19 and 13.

Summer comes to us with 6 years of experience, two years working in a spa setting and four years working alongside Chiropractors and Physical Therapists. This has given her an excellent combination of attention to detail and understanding of injury’s and how our bodies react to pain and stress. Summer strives to help her clients reach their wellness goals. 

Summer is trained in Swedish, Hydrotherapy, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Cupping and our Signature Custom Therapeutic Massage. Summer’s ability to work through the muscular system and free up all the areas contributing to restrictions and limitations is what makes her an exceptional massage therapist.

Carol Mathewson, LMT, BCTMB, OMT, Reiki Master, AAS in Massage Therapy   Practicing since 2011, Carol is licensed in both Florida and New Jersey and is Nationally Board Certified (BCTMB). She studied Therapeutic Massage at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota where she completed her Massage Certification and earned an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy to bring a unique skill set to each individual session.   She holds specialty certifications in Oncology Massage (OMT), Pre-Post Natal Massage, and Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) for Head, Neck and Face, a therapy which can be quite effective to relieve discomfort for those who experience chronic migraines, suffer from seasonal allergies or have chronic sinus discomfort. As a Reiki Master and Healing Touch practitioner, she can infuse these energetic therapies into your massage session to provide deep and profound relaxation and restoration.   Her goal is to understand the whole person and select effective approaches to relieve discomfort, reduce stress and encourage recovery from injury and/or physical activities in order to nurture an active and well Being.

Stephanie has been a licensed massage practitioner since 2013. Over the past 10 years she has had the opportunity to work at exclusive high end resorts and spas. She believes in the holistic approach of healing to renew, relax and restore body and mind. She is very passionate about helping others achieve their wellness goals through therapeutic massage. She specializes in Swedish, Custom Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy. Medium to Firm pressure. Available by appointment only. 

Joan is a Florida licensed massage therapist who recently relocated from New Jersey. She has 12 years of experience and has developed a unique massage style which is gentle yet effective in releasing tight muscles and tissues. Her massage style is unique and combines Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point Release and Medical Massage. She also has training in Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping and Sports massage techniques.  Joan is a certified Reiki Master as well as Integrated Energy Therapy, Chakra Balancing, Chakra Alignment and hold certifications in Oncology Massage. Her goal is to help each client as an individual focusing on that individual's complaints, making a plan of action and work on relieving their problem area.

Whitney is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida along with being licensed in Colorado and South Carolina. Recently, she moved back to Florida, her home state. Whitney is married and has two children, their daughter and son.  A graduate of Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, Whitney has been practicing massage therapy since 2009. Whitney specializes in Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular/ Triggerpoint Therapy, Medical Cupping, Myofascial Sports Massage, Hot Stones and Swedish.   She understands the needs of clients snd focuses on their health and well being. Whitney will provide professionalism and compassion to provide a top service to each client.   In her free time, you can find Whitney spending time with her family, at the beach, traveling and going horseback riding.

Jennifer Allgaier, LMT, CMLD MA30499 Jennifer is originally from Michigan. She moved to Sarasota, Florida over 30 year's ago. She recently got engaged and moved to North Port. She is a 1999 graduate of the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy and has been a practicing massage therapist since 2000. Her career began by working with chiropractors, which provided valuable insights into how massage therapy can complement other forms of healthcare. After a few year's she transitioned to working in the spa industry before opening her own practice in 2012 in Lakewood Ranch. Specializing in deep tissue bodywork that focuses on addressing imbalances in the body, which can be crucial for clients seeking relief from chronic pain or muscular issues. Certifications include Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Structural Integration, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone, and Bamboo Fusion. She is dedicated to mastering a wide array of massage techniques to best serve her clients needs. Jennifer's goal is to help clients achieve total body wellness, showcasing a holistic approach to their practice. Through her experience and diverse skill set, she aims to provide comprehensive care that goes beyond addressing surface-level issues, instead focusing on the overall well-being of her clients. This level of dedication to her clients wellness speaks volumes about her passion for bodywork and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those she treats.
